This video is a demonstration of high-speed picking and order loading of the intelligent FANUC M-3iA Robot and the FANUC M-430iA food picking robot. An M-3iA/6S four-axis robot locates and picks two randomly-placed doughnuts from an inbound conveyor and places them on an outbound conveyor at rates of 220 picks per minute. The M-3iA robot is a larger version of FANUC Robotics' M-1iA robot. Equipped with iRVision® Visual Tracking, this four-axis M-3iA has a single-axis wrist for simple assembly and high-speed picking operations, offering speeds up to 4000 degrees per second. This demonstration also features the M-3iA's enhanced wrist which is 20 percent faster than the previous model. A FANUC M-430iA/4HF robot transfers doughnuts from the outbound conveyor back to the inbound conveyor six at a time. Designed specifically for food washdown environments, the M-430iA food robot is capable of picking primary food and packaged products, and is the first robot to meet the hygiene requirements for meat and poultry processing, and receive equipment acceptance from the United States Department of Agriculture.
