Picking insulin vials from a pallet
| |
A FANUC LR Mate 200iC is shown picking pre-assembled insulin vials from a pallet. The robot places the insulin vials into an eight position dial driven by a pneumatic indexer. The speed and accuracy of the robot allows the system to maintain a customer specified 3 second cycle time. The robot uses a custom machined gripper that contours to the shape of the vial. The use of a palletizing function in the FANUC controller easily defines the 945 vial positions on the pallet. |
