This course is designed for advanced students who have taken ArcTool Operations and Programming, or who have demonstrated similar skill level.

Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Write multi-tasking programs.
• Setup payload schedules, collision guard sensitivities, and use them in a program.
• Setup and use the Torchmate option.
• Setup and use Touch Sensing.
• Use Rapid Fault Recovery.
• Setup and use TAST.
• Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.

The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned.

In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Audience: This course is intended for the person who may be required to program or optimize paths using an ArcTool-equipped FANUC robot loaded with the above options.

Prerequisites: Attendance in an ArcTool Operations and Programming class.
